Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad 💙
It’s been years since that 1993 visit, but the memories are still vivid — your flannel shirt, that Mariner hat, and your big laugh echoing through the pines. You weren’t much for posing, but you humored me with that staged chainsaw photo… even though we both knew you were more into wood-stacking supervision by then. 😉
But the real snapshots — the ones etched in my heart — are from inside the house. You, dancing with your little redheaded shadow in her swimsuit. Ending every single day the same way… with a Dixieland Jazz dance party. That’s how you lived — full of rhythm, full of heart, and always making room for joy.
I miss your stories, your stubborn strength, and the way your eyes twinkled when music started playing.
Hope you’re still dancing up there, Dad. We’ll keep the band playing down here.
Love and miss you……until we meet again🥰
