Nature’s Reminder to Let Go and Move Forward

On my last Sunday in Naples, I witnessed something incredible.

A tricolored heron caught a fish that was too large for it. Instead of forcing it, the bird released the fish back into the pond.

The fish seemed stunned, and the heron stayed nearby… gently nudging it, helping guide it back into deeper water until it finally swam away.

What a reminder from nature:

Some things are not ours to carry.
Some things are meant to be released.
And even small acts of care can make a big difference.

A beautiful sendoff from Naples. 💛🕊️
